Wirtshaus Zum Muckensturmer in Bad Hersfeld

We ordered food to be picked up on 01/01/2021. Ordering and collecting went smoothly and quickly. Unfortunately, I have to justify the deduction for my stars with the fact that the food I ordered was not particularly tasty, unlike usual in the restaurant. My duck breast with dumplings and red cabbage was one of the worst duck breast I had ever eaten. The meat was like cooked very toe and hardly possible to chew. The other meals were ok but not great. I hope it was just a bad day from the chef and will be good again next time.

Balkan specialties and other delicious dishes. Meat lovers are absolutely right here! E.g. gourmet plate was very tasty, 2 types of meat, green beans crispy, delicious spicy paprika sauce. I will definitely go again. I also like the ambience, cozy, warm. Addendum: Cevapcici, skewer, djuvec rice, salad, everything is great!

Staff always nice, everything clean, very comfortable. Prices for the portion size were very good and reasonable, the food was always great. Never been disappointed.

In itself a nice location and very centrally located, but the quality of the food was not good when we visited! The meat partly borderline raw and very tough! Doesn't have to be again!

Still cozy atmosphere. The food was not really warm. But they immediately took care of it. Could sit there for a long time. We have been very satisfied.

We were visiting Bad Hersfeld for the first time and wandering around the city center on a rainy afternoon looking for a traditional German place to eat. Suffice it to say that we found the right place. The host and staff were very friendly which is rare during these troubled times. The portions were pretty large, which was exactly what we needed and everything was delicious. If we ever return to Bad Hersfeld, we know where to eat.

The condition was extremely friendly and the food was more than delicious and I was surprised at how quickly we got the food. The price / performance ratio was also great. I'm sure it wasn't the last time we eat there ?

I was so disappointed and was expecting so much better after reading others. Service was mediocre and food (even though recommended by waiter) was disgusting - so salty that inedible, soda without gas. Shame, after lovely day in beautiful Bad Hersfeld...
